WHAT? YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO USE A FOUNDATION BRUSH? What's a primer? How do I mix eyeshadows? Wearing makeup is for high maintenance people. I've been there, we all been there. Well ladies, I'm no beauty guru, but I have become pretty good in perfecting my makeup game.
Here are 5 ways to get into makeup...
1. Choose your favorite celebrity/icon as your makeup muse.
Ready? Does she wear simple, or over the top makeup? Try to save your favorite pictures of her wearing simple makeup (baby steps people) and go to a makeup counter to get a live tutorial on how to achieve this look. BEWARE, sometimes when you go to a makeup counter you would have to buy a product, but one lipstick doesn't hurt anybody.
2. Go on youtube and look for tutorials of your makeup muse
e.g., "Adele's Hello Makeup Tutorial".
Know the basics, in order to achieve proper makeup application remember what you need: Foundation, concealer, powder, eyebrows, blush, mascara, and lipstick. Those are must if you want to do your makeup properly. Yes, you do need to do your eyebrows; your eyebrows are the frame of your face.
