This is not your typical "How To Dress Like James Bond for cheaper, this is an appreciation post for one of the most elegant man of the big screen. Bond, sometimes, is appreciated for all the wrong things, but one things is for sure: YOU SHOULD WANT TO DRESS LIKE HIM.
James Bond is always portraying elegance, confidence, calm and a sense that everything is okay when the supervillain is trying to rule the world; Also, I don't think real spies are dressed in a two piece suit. Another example of how your style portrays your brand, James Bond elegance makes him 10x more attractive, it gives him an air of importance and respect he deserves just by the way he dresses.
Curious fact it was Daniel Craig who contacted Tom Ford to design his costumes for the movies. It all started with Craig’s second Bond film "Quantum of Solace" and man did I notice. At first, I didn't watch all Daniel Craig's movies in order; I saw Skyfall first and the scene where he comes back to MI6 and I am not exaggerating, but I screamed a little when I saw him with his blue pinstripe suit and immediately thought it hat to be Tom Ford, and it was. It means I am being very good at recognizing high fashion, and I am also very good at hunting down who’s the costume designer in charge.

| The pinstripe suit I was talking about. Movie: Skyfall |
When I started to watch Craig's movies in order I noted a difference between Casino Royale's costumes and Quantum's. Casino was so basic, the only thing that stood out was the La Perla blue swimsuit that turned Daniel Craig into a sex symbol.
The rest of the costumes are OK for Bond, the tuxedo he wears is not amazing. When I saw Quantum, if you have an eye for it, you can tell the difference in quality and texture; Also, the ties give it away. From his sunglasses to the tie, you notice Bond looks way far elegant. Even though you need to take into consideration Casino and Quatum are from the 2000's the styling of the movies are totally going to be different from Skyfall and Spectre, regardless, you can tell what makes a good suit.
Casino Royale - Score: 6/10
New Costume Designer, New Bond
Quantum wasn’t as successful as Skyfall fashion wise, even though Tom Ford was already in the picture. After the release of Skyfall, Bond’s navy tuxedo became the best seller for Tom Ford and the success was due to the new costume designer: Jany Temime.
All the magic of Daniel Craig's James Bond style is brought to you by the most fabulous french costume designer Jany Temime, who has also been the costume designer for the majority of the Harry Potter movies. She's the reason why we all are gaging at James every time he comes up with a new suit. She is able to tell a story through the costumes, a story that goes hand in hand with the plot and scenery—it's an art.
She started working as a costume designer along with Tom Ford for Skyfall. Their creative process is very open, Jany Tamime designs everything Bond will wear for each scene and chooses the fabric from Ford’s selection. The designs get sent to Tom Ford, he then sends italian tailors and VOILA! You got a James Bond suit. That’s for Bond though, the actresses are not exclusive to Tom Ford.
A curious fact abound Bond's suits, for every scene there's 30 different suits made per scene, e.g., in a fighting scene Bond is wearing pads all over the suit or if he's in motorcycle chase the tie is made with a heavier fabric so that it doesn't go flying straight to his face and the sleeves of his suit are made longer making the suit appear as a normal lenght, when usually the sleeves of the jacket would appear too short for the position he’s in. In those 30 Tom Ford suits are included Daniel Craig’s stunt men.
